MWT 8 pointed Two Rivers Star #48

The MWT Eight-Pointed Star #48 is found in the Morgans & Wilcox Type Specimen Book of 1890 as Ornament #6. When Hamilton bought out Morgans & Wilcox in 1897, this unique design was then found in the Hamilton Specimen Book #17 (1907) where it was renamed Ornament #52. It is named the Two Rivers star in honor of the reopening of the Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum in Two Rivers, Wisconsin
