A set of two 12 line Solid Manicules, laser cut into end grain hard maple.
Sometimes also called Printer's Fist, Pointer, or Index. The Tubbs design of a solid manicule is the most common from the 1800's. The solid fill give the printer a dark, eye-catching graphic. This one was inspired from the Tubbs and Company #5 specimen book from 1905, provided by Paul Aken's large collection at the Platten Press Museum in Zion, Illinois.
